Privacy Policy
Rampa is a training app. To build and adapt your plan it needs some data about you and your training. This page says what we collect, why, where it lives, and how to delete it.
What we collect
- Profile. First name, sex, age, the disciplines you train, your goal or race date, weekly hours, fitness level and progression setting. You enter these during onboarding.
- Daily log. Resting heart rate, sleep hours, calories, alcohol units and how hard a session felt (RPE), when you enter them or allow us to read them from Apple Health.
- Activities. Completed workouts (type, start time, duration, distance, heart rate, power, calories) from Apple Health or Strava, when you connect them.
- Account. Your email address and a sign-in identifier once cloud accounts launch.
Apple Health and Apple Watch
With your permission Rampa reads resting heart rate, heart rate, sleep, active energy, distance and workouts from Apple Health, and writes the structured workouts it schedules on your Apple Watch. Health data is used only to fill your log, mark sessions complete and compute your training load. We never use Health data for advertising, never sell it, and never share it with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Rampa.
Strava
If you connect Strava, Rampa imports your own activities to mark sessions complete and compute load. We request read access only. Rampa does not post to Strava, does not access other athletes' data, and does not use Strava data to train models. Disconnect in Me → Connections at any time; this revokes Rampa's access on Strava's side too.
Where your data lives
Today everything is stored on your device. When cloud sync launches, profile, plan, log and activity data are stored in our own database on Amazon Web Services in the United States, encrypted at rest and in transit. Connection tokens are kept in the iOS Keychain on your device.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites.
- No selling or renting of personal or health data.
- No sharing with third parties beyond the services you explicitly connect (Apple, Strava) and our hosting provider (AWS).
Analytics and crash reports
We collect anonymous usage events (which screens are used, whether a sync succeeded) and crash reports to improve the app. These contain no health data and no names.
Your rights
You can export or delete everything: in the app, Me → Reset app removes all local data, and once accounts exist, Me → Delete account erases your cloud data within 30 days. Email us at angel@goswiftmedia.com for any request, including under GDPR or CCPA.
Children
Rampa is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We will post updates here and note the effective date. Material changes are announced in the app.
